During one of our nights Down South.
The men realized the house was under attack.
The raccoons and possums of Charleston were out for the night,
and up to no good.
The men went out to the front yard to find these no good critters.
While the women remained indoors crafting at the dinning room table.
As we chatted and made button necklaces for the little girls,
we noticed the raccoon,in the back yard, saunter by the glass door...
the men were still out front...
and that raccoon was not worried.
After we let the men know the critters were in the back yard,
they came ready and armed...
with Hadley Tate's pellet rifle.
side note: these pictures are a little dark, blurry, and all taken from behind....when raccoons are sauntering around outside the house, this photographer remains indoors.
