Apple Picking

We went apple picking last weekend in Indiana, meeting up with Denise, Gus, and baby Roland! It was cold, raining, and really windy...but we did pick out some good apples!

Making Lily dispose of some of the 15 pounds of apples she had already picked. We enjoy a good apple here, but I wasn't sure we'd be able to go through all of them...She is my girl on a mission!

After being out in the cold rain picking apples, we went into the barn for some apple cider and cinnamon donuts!

After the quick warm up and Lily scarfed down 2 1/2 donuts we headed outside to petting zoo.
This is my 6-year old who has never fed an animal in her life...

and was so excited she was finally "brave" enough to give it a try!

Hannah Grace was obsessed with this little bird things, something called Silkies or some such thing.

It was an adventure getting to the Apple Orchard, a long boring story that involves our car's security system shutting down the car and then involved my directions getting us very lost. Indiana has a lot of long windy country roads that all begin with "County" that somehow don't lead to the Orchard. Long story short, we made it there! And, got to see baby Rollie!
